Several methods in Selection classes have been moved to header files for better inlining.
BVH_Constants - added new enumeration defining common constant values used with BVH trees.
BVH - replaced NCollection_Handle with Standard_Transient handle
in classes BVH_Properties, BVH_Builder, BVH_Tree, BVH_Object.
Defined global BVH-builders instead of allocating a new one for each object set.
SelectMgr_ViewerSelector - added new method ::SetEntitySetBuilder() defining
default BVH Tree builder for SelectMgr_SensitiveEntitySet.
Added new method SelectMgr_SensitiveEntitySet::SetBuilder()
for overriding default BVH tree builder.
AIS_InteractiveContext - removed the following unused properties:
- PreSelectionColor(), DefaultColor(), WasCurrentTouched(), ZDetection().
AIS_InteractiveObject - removed unused property SelectionPriority().
Prs3d_Drawer - removed properties HighlightStyle() and SelectionStyle().
Graphic3d_HighlightStyle has been superseded by Prs3d_Drawer
inheriting from new class Graphic3d_PresentationAttributes.
Graphic3d_PresentationAttributes (as Graphic3d_HighlightStyle replacement)
has been extended with new properties:
- ZLayer() defining Z-Layer for highlighting presentation.
- DisplayMode() defining display mode for highlighting.
StdSelect_BRepSelectionTool methods have been corrected to take
SelectMgr_EntityOwner instead of StdSelect_BRepOwner.
StdSelect_Shape - duplicated field myDrawer has been dropped.
AIS_InteractiveObject - myDrawer->Color() is now used instead of myOwnColor,
myDrawer->Transparency() instead of myTransparency
and myDrawer->ZLayer() instead of myZLayer.
PrsMgr_PresentationManager::Unhighlight() now unhighlight all modes.
The method taking Mode as argument has been marked deprecated.
New enumeration Prs3d_TypeOfHighlight has been introduced
defining different highlight types.
AIS_InteractiveObject::HighlightStyle() now takes enumeration argument
and defines different styles for Global and Local selection.
ComesFromDecomposition() property has been moved
from StdSelect_BRepOwner to SelectMgr_EntityOwner.
- getter for selection frustum computed during last run of selection mechanism was added to SelectMgr_SelectingVolumeManager;
- getters for frustum planes were added to SelectMgr_BaseFrustum and its successors;
- an API for applications to get frustum planes was added to SelectBasics_SelectingVolumeManager.
1) Zoom persistence mode now fixes object in pixel coordinates and is independent on view size
2) Used gp_GTrsf instead of gp_Trsf SelectMgr_ViewerSelector to store Graphic3d_Mat4d
3) Zoom persisted objects changed behavior (become bigger) therefore test cases were updated according to new state.
4) Corrected scale for rectangular frustum
Updated test for manipulator
MeshVS_Mesh selection logic in MeshVS_SMF_Mesh mode (entire mesh) has been optimized.
MeshVS_Mesh::ComputeSelection() now creates single sensitive entity
MeshVS_CommonSensitiveEntity (new class) instead of small sensitive entity on each element.
MeshVS_SensitiveQuad (new class) and Select3D_SensitiveTriangle are used instead of Select3D_SensitiveFace for local selection to reduce memory consumption when possible.
- added interface for changing sensitivity of a particular selection through both interactive and local context;
- added corresponding methods for changing sensitivity to SelectMgr_SelectionManager, SelectMgr_Selection and SelectBasics_SensitiveEntity;
- option -setSensitivity was implemented in vaspects Draw command;
- test case for issue #26462
- initial transformation of triangulation is now applied to selecting frustum;
- switched from NCollection_Vec3 to gp collections to avoid conversions and usage of macros;
- calculation of frustum was refactored to reduce its build time;
- double pixel tolerances for selection were replaced by integer ones;
- switched to splitting along the main axis only in SelectMgr BVH selection primitive sets.
- now custom pixel tolerance from vselprecision is added to default sensitivity of the primitive;
- unnecessary field mytolerance was removed from SelectMgr_ViewerSelector;
- test case for issue #26413.
Automatic upgrade of OCCT code by command "occt_upgrade . -nocdl":
- WOK-generated header files from inc and sources from drv are moved to src
- CDL files removed
- All packages are converted to nocdlpack
Forward declaration of TCollection instances as classes are replaced by inclusion of corresponding header.
Cyclic dependencies between declaration of collection class and its item are resolved by forward declaring a class in collection header.
2 modes of rectangular selection are available: inclusion-only and overlap-allowing;
The modes can be switched using method AllowOverlapDetection from StdSelect_ViewerSelector3d;
BVH for sensitive entities now builds if there is more than max number of leafs in collection;
Added option -allowoverlap to command vselect;
Interactive rectangular selection in Draw is now available in 2 modes:
- if the user starts selection from upper corners, only fully included objects will be selected;
- if the user starts selection from lower corners, both partially and fully overlapped objects will be selected.
Max tolerance is now applied to all objects and entities by default;
if there is an entity with a lower tolerance, selecting frustum will be recalculated for it.
The ability to set sensitivity for each entity individually is moved to protected section of SelectBasics_SensitiveEntity
SetPixelTolerance from AIS_InteractiveContext now sets custom tolerance that is applied to all sensitives.
Added -unset option to vselprecision command to disable custom tolerances.
Test case for issue #26159
Redesign of selection mechanism:
- implemented 3-level BVH tree for selection;
- selection now calculates in 3D space;
- intersection tests were moved to SelectMgr_BaseFrustum descendants;
- removed .cdl files in Select3D and .cdl related to selection in MeshVS;
- SelectMgr_ViewerSelectors are now shared between local and global contexts;
- transformations of sensitive entities are now stored in SelectMgr_SelectableObject only. Sensitive entities are independent from transformations, it is applied to SelectMgr_SelectingVolumeManager instance only;
- connected and multiple connected interactive objects are now represented by their child objects only for SelectMgr_SelectionManager;
- if interactive object has child objects, they will be stored as separate objects in SelectMgr_SelectionManager now.
- test cases bugs/vis/bug24623_1, bug24623_2, bug24623_3, bug24623_4 to test performance and memory issues.
0023422: Selection problems when using SetLocation.
0024756: AIS_ConnectedInteractive does not support nested AIS_ConnectedInteractive
0025103: Visualization - Regression in interactive detection
Each PrsMgr_PresentableObject has list of PrsMgr _PresentableObject called myChildren.
Transformation PrsMgr_PresentableObject applied to its children every time when its own transformation affected. This hierarchy does not propagate to Graphic3d level and below.
PrsMgr_PresentableObject send its combined (according to hierarchy) transform down to Graphic3d_Structure.
AIS_ConnectedInteractive and AIS_MultiplyConnectedInteractive are reused but behavior has been changed.
AIS_ConnectedInteractive now is an instance of object. It reuses geometry of connected object but have own transformation, material, visibility flag etc. This connection propagated down to OpenGl level to OpenGl_Structure. For this task old “connected” mechanism has been reused.
AIS_MultiplyConnectedInteractive represents assembly which doesn’t have its own presentation. Assemblies are able to participate is scene hierarchy and intended to handle a grouped set of instanced objects. It behaves as single object in terms of selection. It applies high level transform to all sub-elements since it located above in the hierarchy.
All AIS_MultiplyConnectedInteractive are able to have child assemblies. Deep copy of object instances performed when one assembly attached to another.
