1. The condition of WLine breaking (in IntWalk_IWalking algorithm) has become more independent of the input tolerance.
2. Currently the algorithm of IntPatch_Points of WLine processing depends on the algorithm of obtaining the WLine.
3. The methods IntSurf_LineOn2S::Add(...) and IntSurf_LineOn2S::SetUV(...) have become not inline (see the message ~0077431 in the issue #29866).
In the fragment
if (aNewPnt[0] < u1min || aNewPnt[0] > u1max ||
aNewPnt[1] < v1min || aNewPnt[1] > v1max ||
aNewPnt[2] < u2min || aNewPnt[2] > u2max ||
aNewPnt[3] < v2min || aNewPnt[3] > v2max)
{
break; // Out of borders, handle this later.
}
the parameters are compared with values obtained by IntPolyh_MaillageAffinage algorithm and do not have any relations to the domain boundaries.
This misprint has been eliminated.
Since now a new WLine is not created if its start point lies in another earlier computed WLine. It allows avoiding creation of duplicate WLines in the intersection result.
<!break>
1. Methods IsOutSurf1Box(...), IsOutSurf2Box(...), IsOutBox(...) for classes IntSurf_LineOn2S and IntPatch_RLine have been created.
All library-specific macros for defining export / import properties of symbols on Windows (like Standard_API, __Draw_API, _math_API etc.) are eliminated.
Common macro Standard_EXPORT is used in all places where it is necessary.
New macro OCCT_STATIC_BUILD is defined for disabling Standard_EXPORT, to be used instead of HAVE_NO_DLL, though the latter is still supported as well (for compatibility).
To allow building OCCT in static mode on Windows after these changes:
- Files OSD_WNT_1.hxx and OSD_WNT_BREAK.hxx are removed; useful declarations are moved to OSD_WNT.hxx
- In the class IVtkVTK_ShapeData, static fields ARRNAME_MESH_TYPES and ARRNAME_SUBSHAPE_IDS are converted to static inline functions
- Global array ChoixRef defined in IntImp_ComputeTangence.cxx is converted to static function returning element of the array by index
- Unused class Quantity_Convert is removed (it had static field accessed by inline method)
- Struct Approx_Data defined in the same way in BRepApprox_Approx.hxx and GeomInt_WLApprox.hxx is made private member of these classes to avoid name clash
- Some C++ files producing no object code are removed
- In NCollection_EBTree.hxx and StdLPersistent_Collectio.hxx, definition of template virtual method is moved to class definition to avoid MSVC linker warnings on unused symbols
Some point were incorrectly removed from the Walking-line.
In the current fix, new method IntWalk_PWalking::RemoveAPoint(...) has been added and implemented in order to provide safe removing.
So, now methods AddAPoint(...) and RemoveAPoint(...) are recommended to use for work with the Walking-line.
The macros Status, Convex, Opposite, FillSolid (coming from X11 headers)
are now undefined in place of definition of methods with same name in OCCT headers.
The usage of variables with name Status is now avoided.
GL_GLEXT_LEGACY is now defined only if not already defined.
The macros AddPrinter (coming from WinAPI headers) is now undefined
within Message_Messenger class definition having method with the same name.
CurrentDirectory macro is now undefined in OSD_Process.hxx.
Generation of 3D-steps shorter than 3D tolerance has been allowed in the fix to build Walking-line.
Now, 3D-step is limited by Precision::Confusion value.
Macro NO_CXX_EXCEPTION was removed from code.
Method Raise() was replaced by explicit throw statement.
Method Standard_Failure::Caught() was replaced by normal C++mechanism of exception transfer.
Method Standard_Failure::Caught() is deprecated now.
Eliminated empty constructors.
Updated samples.
Eliminate empty method ChangeValue from NCollection_Map class.
Removed not operable methods from NCollection classes.
Purger has been disabled (in IntPatch_PrmPrmIntersection algorithm) if some points have been added in the Walking line (it is stupidly, first, to insert some points in the line and, after that, to delete points from this line).
Some improvements in IntWalk_PWalking::SeekPointOnBoundary(...) method have been made (see comments in the code for detail information).
Some test cases have been adjusted according to their new behavior.
Now, the algorithm tries to estimate U- and V-ranges of future intersection curve(s) on the surface. This information is used in stop-criterium of the algorithm instead of full surface range used earlier. It allows reducing dependencies of intersection result on the surface ranges.
Tuning of test case bugs/modalg_6/bug27937_1
The algorithm that builds outlines ("silhouettes") makes an outline in 2d parametric space of the surface starting from some previously detected point where normal is orthogonal to direction of view. So, the surface is previously discretized into (m*n) sample points and some of them become starting points for future outlines.
If the surface has non-uniform parametrization and/or some local extremums of curvature, the outlines can not be built without breaks, so there are several groups of consequent outlines in this case. Unfortunately, it leads to the situation when current number of sample points becomes insufficient to build all the parts of outlines.
The idea is to detect the "holes" between already constructed parts of outlines and then complete the construction.
