03275c0be1 0022821: Crash with BRepFilletAPI_MakeFillet
test bugs modalg_7 bug22821 failed on fillet shape with 5-th edge.
Experimentally has been found that reducing of parameter
ChFi3d_Builder::tolesp for this task solves the issue.

So, as soluton it is proposed to link parameter toleps with parameter range of
spine curve. So, production coefficient has been set to pass all tests and
2 teset was extended: tests/blend/complex/A6, tests/bugs/modalg_7/bug22821

first has been extended to test different scaling factors,
second has been extended to make fillet on all edges from 12.

Additionally:
 - fixed misusage of tolesp in contexts where tolerance of point in 3d is excepted;
     In some context usage of tol_esp is irrelevant, because its essentiality - tolerance of the parameter on the 3d curve.
     So, in such context it has been replaced with new parameter tol3d (with fix value 1.0e-4).
     Get rid of tolapp3d duplication constant - tol_3d
 - tolesp = 5.0e-5 * (umax - umin)
 - tolesp replaced by tolpoint2d/tolpoint3d in several classes.
     Blend_Walking
     BRepBlend_SurfRstLineBuilder
     BRepBlend_RstRstLineBuilder
     Blend_CSWalking
     Instead `tolesp` - `tolgui` is employed in contexts where tolerance of guide curve parameter is excepted.

 - Replace tolesp with tolpoint2d/tolpoint3d in BBPP function argument.
 - Use tolapp3d instead tolesp in BonVoisin function,

d99f0355e3 0031731: Draw Harness - colorize errors and exception messages
Draw_Interpretor, CommandCmd() - catched exceptions and messages put into Tcl string result
before throwing a Tcl exception (return 1) are now print in intense red (using Message::SendFail()).
Duplication of exception message in std::cout and Tcl output has been removed.

Draw Harness plugins have been updated to use either Message::SendFail() or theDI instead of std::cout/std::cerr
for printing colored error message before throwing a Tcl exception.

fffc249f21 0027531: Modeling Algorithms - Make the algorithm Approx_SameParameter more clear and robust
Approx/Approx_SameParameter.cxx,hxx:
Class Approx_SameParameter refactoring. Logic is changed in many places to unify usage, simplify maintenance.
Method Curve2d() is changed to return Geom2d_Curve instead of Geom2d_BSplineCurve. Corresponding message is added to the upgrade guide.
.lxx file is merged into .hxx.
Tangent computation is extracted into special method.
Comparing number of sample points after CheckSameParameter(...) is added to define cases with projection fails.
Undesirable behavior when curves are not same parameterized is fixed.

Geom2dAdaptor/Geom2dAdaptor.cxx: treatment of offset curve is added

Adaptor3d/Adaptor3d_TopolTool.cxx: minor improvement of performance for BSpline surfaces with huge number of knots

Tests were modified according to new behavior of sameparameter algorithm

624c599cd3 0029359: Approximation algorithm computes multidimensional distance in Euclidean space incorrectly
Wrong distance computation has been corrected.

Some test-cases have been corrected according to their new behavior. Namely, built (by approximation algorithm) curve(s) has changed its geometrical position.

1. tests/blend/simple/X4

It is not a regression because the result is not correct on both MASTER and FIX (see explanation in the issue #26740). This problem is expected to be solved after porting Fillet-algorithm to new Boolean operation. Old Boolean operations do not cover Edge-Edge tangent-zone by vertex.

2. tests/bugs/modalg_6/bug27341_318

"checknbshapes" has been deleted in order to avoid non-stable behavior (see issue #29360) of this test case. New result is OK on both Linux and Windows platform.

Prevent modification of the input shapes in destructive mode in case their sub-shapes have not been modified:
1. Prevent edge splitting for the pave blocks with old vertices if it is possible to use the existing edge (*BOPAlgo_PaveFiller::MakeSplitEdges*);
2. Prevent creation of the new containers (WIRES/SHELLS/COMPSOLIDS) if non of its parts have been modified (*BOPAlgo_Builder::FillImagesContainer*);
3. Prevent creation of the new face if non of its wires have been modified (*BOPAlgo_Builder::FillImagesFaces*);
4. If possible, use the original face to be the representative for the group of SD faces (*BOPAlgo_Builder::FillSameDomainFaces*).

Cosmetic changes:
1. Documentation of the *BOPAlgo_Builder* class.
2. Making simple methods of the *BOPAlgo_Builder* class inline.
3. Getting rid of the *BOPAlgo_Builder::mySplits* field as it is excessive. *BOPAlgo_Builder::myImages* can be used instead.
3. Moving the Check Inverted option from *BOPAlgo_Options* to *BOPAlgo_Builder*.

Test cases for the issue.
Adjustment of the test case to their current behavior.
Test case *blend/complex/H2* has been deleted as duplicate of the test case *blend/simple/Z1*.

d30895f5da 0023178: Intersection of cylinders fails to produce results
1. Unification of trimmed and not-trimmed cylinders processing (IntPatch_Intersection::GeomGeomPerfomTrimSurf() method has been removed).
2. Interface of IntPatch_ImpImpIntersection::Perform(...) method has been changed.
3. Now, WLine purging is forbidden for Geom-Geom-Intersection.
4. Bnd_Range class has been created. See Bnd_Range.hxx for detail information.
5. Algorithm of AddBoundaryPoint function has been improved in order to obtain intersection points in both boundaries (VFirst and VLast of every surface).
6. Earlier, method Geom2dConvert::ConcatG1(...) increased resulted B-spline degree (in case of not succession of previous iteration). Now increased value has been limited by Geom2d_BSplineCurve::MaxDegree() value (max degree = 25).
7. Algorithm of B-spline closure definition has been changed in the methods Geom2dConvert::C0BSplineToC1BSplineCurve(...) and Geom2dConvert::C0BSplineToArrayOfC1BSplineCurve(...).

Creation of test case for this issue.
Adjusting test cases according to their new behavior.

8109385697 0027362: Meshing performance
1) BRepMesh_FastDiscretFace.cxx:
- exclude planes from procedure of inserting internal points.
- localize declaration of the container aNewVertices in each method where it is needed.
- correct the logic of the method insertInternalVerticesOther, so that to separate the processes of removing extra points and addition of new points in different cycles, thus making the code more clear and in addition stable.
- insert useful output of intermediate mesh to a file in control() method for debug purposes (with definition DEBUG_MESH).

2) Add global functions MeshTest_DrawTriangles and MeshTest_DrawLinks to draw mesh data in debug session.

3) BRepMesh_FastDiscret:
- in the method Add calculations of deflections have been simplified for non-relative mode.
- replace the attribute MinDist with Deflection in EdgeAttributes structure. Correct its computation so that later to store this value as deflection of the polygon.

4) Make protection against exception in the method BRepMesh_Delaun::addTriangle() when an added triangle creates a third connection of a mesh edge.

5) BRepMesh_EdgeTessellator.cxx, BRepMesh_EdgeTessellationExtractor.cxx: use Geom2dAdaptor_Curve in order to use b-spline cache while computing value on a curve.

6) In BndLib_Box2dCurve::PerformBSpline, avoid creating new b-spline in case of requested parameter range differ from natural bounds insignificantly.

7) In GeomAdaptor classes, postpone building of cache till the time of its actual usage. So, creation of an adapter to compute intervals of continuity does not lead to creation of internal cache.

8) In the methods BRepAdaptor_Curve::Bezier and BSpline do not call Transformed() if transformation is identity.

9) In the classes Geom_BSplineCurve, Geom_BSplineSurface, Geom_BezierCurve, Geom_BezierSurface, Geom2d_BSplineCurve, Geom2d_BezierCurve change the method Pole() to return the point by const reference.

10) In CPnts_AbscissaPoint.cxx, compute derivative by D1 instead of DN to make use of b-spline cache.

11) Change test cases to actual state:
  - Number of triangles/nodes can grow due to more accurate work with deflection of edges. Now the edge is tessellated using its own tolerance instead of maximal tolerance of all shapes in the face.
  - Accept new numbers of mesh errors (free links, free nodes) for really bad shapes.
  - Correct the test "bugs/mesh/bug25612" to produce stable result.
  - Disable redundant checks in test cases bug25378* (lower limit for computation time).

- Speed up iso-lines computation for offset of bspline surfaces. For that use adaptor instead of original surface in evaluator of approximation.
- Add output of polylines for debug of insertInternalVerticesOther().

Reference data in test case bugs\moddata_2\bug453_3 have been changed to be close to expected theoretical values. This makes the test give stable result on different platforms.

714c3bfccc 0026980: Intersection algorithm spends much system time and system memory
1. Step of Walking-line has been increased as possible and now computes by iteratively adaptive algorithm (every iteration checks if current step is too big/small and decreases/increases one).

2. Interface of IntWalk_PWalking class has been changed
2.1. Method MaxStep() has been added in order to know about maximal distance between 2D-points.
2.2. Method ComputePasInit(...) has been added in order to initial step value computation.
2.3. Fields myTolTang (tolerance for intersection algorithm) and myStepMin (minimal step value) have been added.

Correction of some test cases.
Creation test case for this issue.
Changes to eliminate compiler warnings.

4e14c88f77 0026431: Can't cut a sphere from a cylinder
This branch contains fixes for 26675 and 26431 bugs.

1. Normalization has been eliminated.
2. Interfaces of AppDef_Compute::Parametrization(...) and BRepAlgo_BooleanOperations::SetApproxParameters() methods have been changed.
3. Overloaded methods for ApproxInt_Approx::SetParameters(...), TopOpeBRepTool_GeomTool::GetTolerances(...) and TopOpeBRepTool_GeomTool::SetTolerances(...) have been removed (because some fields of these classes are not used more).
4. Comments for some methods have been changed in BRepApprox_TheMultiLineOfApprox.hxx and GeomInt_TheMultiLineOfWLApprox.hxx files.
5. Some fields have been deleted from ApproxInt_MultiLine class. Kept members have become constant.
6. Interface of ksection DRAW-command has been changed.
7. Now, 2dintersect DRAW-command prints information about found segments.
8. Some code fragments have been rewritten to make them easier.
9. Algorithm of splitting WLine, which goes through pole of sphere has been improved.
10. Improve approximation algorithm in order to it will compute correct 2D- and 3D-tangent at the end of bezier constraints (including case when curve goes through or finishes on singular points).
11. Interface of IntPatch_WLine::Dump(...) method has been corrected.
12. Some methods for working with Walking-line are made more universal (available for both GeomInt and IntTools packages).
13. Problem in BRepLib::SameParameter(...) method has been fixed (see corresponding comment).
14. Small correction in Draft package.
15. Any outputs in IntPatch_Intersection::Dump(...) method have become disabled because they are useless. If anybody need in this outputs he/she will correct this method himself/herself.

 1. Regressions:

a) blend simple X4
The problem is described in the issue #0026740. According to this description,  the result on the current MASTER seems to be wrong indeed.

b) boolean bcommon_complex C7 and boolean bcut_complex Q1
These test case use same shapes with different Boolean operation (COMMON and CUT). They are already BAD (on the MASTER). Now, some sub-shapes have become not-shared, simply. In my opinion, we shall apply new behavior of these tests.

c) boolean bsection M3
The problem described in the issue #0026777 exists even on the current MASTER.

d) boolean bsection M9
The problem is described in the message http://tracker.dev.opencascade.org/view.php?id=26815#c47546. Here, we have really regression in the picture.

e) boolean bsection N2

The problem is described in issue #0026814.

f) boolean volumemaker G1

The problem is described in issue #26020.

g) bugs modalg_1 bug1255 (and bug1255_1)

The problem is described in issue #26815.

1. Algorithm of aStepU1 computing was changed.
2. Interface to allow convert gp_XY(Z) to the math_Vector has been added.
3. Algorithm of point in V-boundaries computing has been changed.

ecc4f1489d 0024915: Wrong intersection curves between two cylinders
Existing method of Cylinder-Cylinder intersection computing is based on finding the analytic line (as a function of one argument) and converting one into the walking-line with set of equidistant (along the line parameter) points.

The main advantage of applied method is using adaptively computed step. Necessary step is computed into every point of the obtained walking-line. At that we receive final walking-line directly (without preliminary analytic line) and we determine moments more precisely, when it should be split (see IntPatch_ImpImpIntersection_4.gxx).

The main disadvantages is bad working this method for non-trimmed cylinders (with infinite bounds), because step value is depend on the boundaries values.

More over, new method always returns walking-line, while intersection result can be an analytic curve (lines, circle, ellipse). That is NO good. Therefore, analytic curve is computed by existing method.

In conclusion, in spite of covering almost all more often meeting cases, new method has limited application. Then we should use the existing old method.

Additionally, method MinMax() is added (see Standard_Real.hxx file). It uses into new algorithm.

Some test cases is changed according to their new behavior.

Test case for issue CR24915 is added.

Into GeometryTest_APICommands.cxx only tabulations were chaged.

"Extending" of isolines (see Geom2dHatch_Hatcher.cxx).

4e57c75ee1 0021762: Integration of new Boolean Operation algorithm to OCCT.
Modifications:
- BRepOffset/BRepOffset_Tool.cxx, Features and Fillets algorithms have been ported on new BO algorithm.
- Old BO algorithm, that was implemented in BOP, BooleanOperations and BOPTools packages, has - been deleted.
- Porting SALOME algorithms to new BOP algorithm.
- Fixing regressions. Rebased on current master.
- Corrections in post treatment of section edges;
- Corrections in the accordance with the bug 0023293;
- Small corrections in the bopcheck and bopargcheck commands.
- NCollection maps have been replaced by NCollection indexed maps to guarantee the constant order of sub-shapes in the result of boolean operation.
