1. Unification of usage of a storage version of an OCAF document by XML and binary file formats.
2. A new format version enumeration in TDocStd package: TDocStd_FormatVersion.
3. Removal of unnecessary methods for storage version like XmlLDrivers::StorageVersion() and BinLDrivers::StorageVersion().
4. Support of old documents (storage version <= 9) in binary file format (came from ESA).
New files:
- TDocStd_FormatVersion.hxx: a new storage format version enumeration for an OCAF document.
Modified files:
- CDM_Document.hxx and cxx: removal of storage format version property (moved to TDocStd_Document).
- TDocStd_Document.hxx and cxx: a storage format version property (moved from CDM_Document).
- BinLDrivers_DocumentSection.hxx and cxx: support of old document storage version in binary file format.
- BinDrivers_DocumentStorageDriver.hxx and cxx,
- BinLDrivers_DocumentStorageDriver.hxx and cxx,

- XmlLDrivers_DocumentStorageDriver.cxx: usage of document storage version from TDocStd_Document in storage and retrieval drivers.
- DDocStd_ApplicationCommands.cxx: draw-command name StorageVersion is replaced by StorageFormatVersion (to be the same everywhere). A corresponding script is corrected too.
New test:
- bugs caf bug29217: a test case for old document storage version in binary file format. It checks several attributes saved by the version TDocStd_FormatVersion_VERSION_7 (old) and the latest version.
Modified test:
- caf presentation M1: the test used a file in the current folder, not in {imagedir} like all other tests.
- bugs caf bug28691

// All remarks are fixed.
Progress indication mechanism is refactored to support incrementing progress within multithreaded algorithms.
The class Message_ProgressIndicator is only an interface to the user application.
It accumulates the progress provided by progress scopes.
The counter is protected by mutex for thread-safety.
The new class Message_ProgressScope replacing Message_ProgressSentry should be used to advance the progress.
The scopes are nested to each other to reflect the nested nature of operations.
The new class Message_ProgressRange should be used to pass the progress to sub-scopes.
All OCCT algorithms involving progress indication have been updated to new API.
Improvements in Draw_ProgressIndicator:
- Separate console mode has been added in order to make possible to put the progress into std::cout instead
or in addition to the draw interpreter, instead of trigger option "-tclOutput".
- Treatment of Ctrl-Break signal has been added.
Now any operation can be aborted by Ctrl-C or Ctrl-Break keystroke.
Added new test case 'perf fclasses progr_par' for testing of parallel work of the progress.
Add support of Message_ProgressIndicator in BinTools classes.
Add support of Message_ProgressIndicator with possibility of user break in methods of opening and saving TDocStd_Application.
Add tests of ProgressIndicator in TDocStd_Applacation.
Build tools are updated to support building with Visual Studion 2019 toolset ClangCL (LLVM clang-cl):
- In CMake builds, use of unsupported option "-std=c++0x" is avoided
- Tool genconf recognizes availability of ClangCL toolset and proposes it in the list
- Tool genproj recognizes new compiler specification VCVER=vclang and generates VS 2019 projects for it
Note that vclang configuration puts binaries to folder "vc14" as it is compatible with vc14 CRT.
Code is updated to build with Clang for Windows without errors and warnings:
- In BVH classes, pure virtual destructors are replaced by empty ones, to avoid bogus compiler warning
- In .lex files, pragmas are added to disable warnings in parser code
- In OSD, signature of function _osd_wnt_set_error() is corrected to avoid warning on incorrect use of va_args (undefined behavior)
- In OSD_Host, OSD_Parallel_TBB, warnings on usage of deprecated function are disabled
- In Quantity_ColorRGBA and ViewerTest_CmdParser, incorrect use of predefined macro __FUNCTION__ assuming it was a string literal is avoided
- In Standard_Macro.hxx, code is reordered to handle Clang for Windows appropriately
- In AdvApp2Var_SysBase.hxx, inclusion of obsolete (MSVC-specific) header file is replaced by Standard_TypeDef.hxx
- In Standard_ErrorHandler.hxx, empty statements added to avoid warning on unused class fields
- In IVtkDraw and ViewerTest, interface is corrected to use actual type avoiding unnecessary type casts
Off-topic: corrections of some errors (uninitialized class fields) reported by VS Code Analysis in TKernel
CDM_Application has been extended to provide application name and version.
Application name and version is stored by BinLDrivers_DocumentStorageDriver.
BinLDrivers_DocumentStorageDriver propagates application name and version
by passing it to BinMDataStd.
Made BinObjMgt_RRelocationTable store a handle to the header data of the file
begin read in to make it accessible by binary attribute drivers.
Undone storing application name and version as static fields in BinMDataStd
which is bad style and not thread-safe.
Moved method implementations to .cxx files.
Clearing a BinObjMgt_RRelocationTable now nullifies the reference to the
file header data and BinLDrivers_DocumentRetrievalDriver therefore sets
the reference after the relocation table has been cleared before reading
in the document subtree.
Fields to store cached instances of reader and writer drivers for each format are added in CDF_Application.
Method DefineFormat() is added in TDocStd_Application, allowing defining format completely by single call, including drivers to be used for persistence.
All OCAF driver packages provide static method DefineFormat() that defines standard OCAF persistence format supported by corresponding package; these methods are called in DRAW to enable all persistence by default.
DRAW commands (except TObj-specific ones) now use single instance of OCAF Application, returned by DDocStd::GetApplication(). Other instances are eliminated, as well as method DDocStd::Find(const Handle(TDocStd_Application)&).
Method MessageDriver() and relevant field are moved to TDocStd_Application from its descendants.
Method CDF_Application::ReaderFromFormat() is made virtual to allow its redefinition in descendants.
Creation of storage driver is moved from PCDM::StorageDriver() to new virtual method CDF_Application::WriterFromFormat().
The code loading driver as plugin is retained in both these methods for compatibility.
Test command OCC24925 is converted to use virtual methods instead of defining plugin resource.
Migration table for old OCAF types is hard-coded in Storage_Schema::CheckTypeMigration().
Removed obsolete and unused items:
- FWOSPlugin library (driver is created directly)
- Methods in classes CDM_Document dealing with unused parameters of format
- DRAW command OCC23010 for testing non-reproducible issue #23010
- Methods PCDM::StorageDriver(), PCDM::FindStorageDriver()
- Method Formats() from CDF_Application and descendants
- Methods LoadExtensions and SchemaName from PCDM_StorageDriver
- Method Plugin::AdditionalPluginMap()
- Method BinLDrivers_DocumentStorageDriver::SchemaName()
- Method CDF_Application::DefaultExtension(), Reader(), FindReader(), FindReaderFromFormat()
- Method CDF_Store::Check()
TDocStd_Application class extended to open/save a document of XmlOcaf and BinOcaf format
from/to standard SEEKABLE stream object which should support SEEK functionality.
