Implementation of capturing of output to standard streams in DRAW (see command dlog) is revised to avoid problems with command "test" executing long test scripts:
1. Method OSD_File::Capture() is removed: on Windows it was allocating a C file descriptor for a file opened using WinAPI, and never released that descriptor (once allocated, it cannot be released separately from WinAPI file handle). Direct calls to dup/dup2 are used instead.
2. In Draw_Window.cxx the standard Tcl channels are initialized manually using corrected version of Tcl internal function. This works around a problem with Tcl channels on Windows being bound to OS device handle owned by the system which can get invalidated as result of calls to dup2() (used to capture output to standard streams).
3. Temporary file for capturing is opened once and used to store whole log, thus the need to collect log in the string stream in memory is avoided
4. Possible errors of dup() and dup2() are checked and reported
Test demo draw dlog is added
Off-topic changes:
- Test demo draw getsource is corrected for VS2017 which generates file name in lowercase
- Field myFaceBounds is initialized in constructor of the class BRepAlgo_NormalProjection to avoid undefined behavior
- Test bugs modalg_5 bug24012 is corrected to use command nproject instead of custom one, and to check propertes of the resulting shape
The method Draw_Interpretor::add() has been corrected so that the command getsourcefile returned the relative path starting with "src" without leading "/" on all platforms.
Command checkplatform was created.
All test cases were updated.
Global variable os_type was eliminated.
New option -osx (MacOS) for procedure checkplatform was added.
Default name for results directory is generated as "results_<branch>_<timestamp>".
In the HTML log of test execution references to script files are made HTML links to relevant files
Aded possibility to put data file for use by test script into subdirectory data of the script folder (function locate_data_file is extended to find such files).
Test demo/testsystem/A1 renamed to locate_data_file and corrected to account for the recent changes.
Default value of CSF_TestDataPath is defined pointing to $CASROOT/data
File psrse.rules corrected in accordance with changed message on missing data file
Interface of command testgrid changed:
- output directory (formerly required argument) is now defined by optional parameter -outdir
- by default tests are run in parallel mode with number of processes equal to number of system CPUs
- check for input arguments is made more strict
Treatment of parameter -outdir of command testgrid corrected.
Function locate_data_file and code to run tests in parallel revised to be usable with Tcl 8.4.
Adjusting testing case demo draw getsource for current state of master
Redesigned the loop to work correctly with unsigned variables.
Treatment of path to source file is rewritten using OSD_Path for more clarity
Command getsourcefile corrected to return its result as Tcl string, and simplified
Error in treatment of optional arguments in substituted puts is fixed in src/DrawResources/TestCommands.tcl
