The regression caused by the patch for 0030534 has been eliminated. For that the method InsertWiresIntoFaces() has been corrected: the face to which a wire is added is first oriented as forward.
"endl" manipulator for Message_Messenger is renamed to "Message_EndLine".
The following entities from std namespace are now used
with std:: explicitly specified (from Standard_Stream.hxx):
std::istream,std::ostream,std::ofstream,std::ifstream,std::fstream,
std::filebuf,std::streambuf,std::streampos,std::ios,std::cout,std::cerr,
std::cin,std::endl,std::ends,std::flush,std::setw,std::setprecision,
std::hex,std::dec.
1. Add method TransformPCurves to ShapeUpgrade_UnifySameDomain - to rotate and translate existing pcurves instead of projecting.
2. Modify method ShapeUpgrade_UnifySameDomain::IntUnifyFaces - now it does not apply ShapeFix to new wires and new faces.
3. In the method UnifyEdges: add merging degenerated edges.
Methods GeomConvert::ConcatG1, GeomConvert::ConcatC1, Geom2dConvert::ConcatG1, Geom2dConvert::ConcatC1 are corrected to prevent exceeding maximum degree of BSpline curve in case of closed contour.
Implementation of the method for simplification of the result of Boolean Operation on the API level.
The method BRepAlgoAPI_BuilderAlgo::SimplifyResult has been added, so the derived classes such as BooleanOpeation and Splitter can also use this method.
The result shape simplification should be called after the operation is done. The simplification is performed by the means of ShapeUpgrade_UnifySameDomain algorithm.
Draw command "bsimplify" has been added to control the simplification options.
Documentation for new functionality and draw commands controlling the options of Boolean operations.
Test cases for the new functionality.
Side-effect change:
The algorithms in Boolean component have been changed to use the BRepTools_History as a History tool.
Now it became possible to disable the collection of shapes modifications during Boolean Operations, which may be useful for performance sake (in draw the option is controlled by *setfillhistory* command).
Draw command "unifysamedom" has been changed to accept the angular tolerance in degrees instead of radians.
Implementation of the 3D model De-featuring algorithm intended for the removal of the unwanted parts (or features) from the model consisting of solids. The features can be the holes, protrusions, gaps, chamfers, fillets etc.
The algorithm removes all possible requested features from the shape and builds the new shape as a result. The input model is not modified.
On the API level the algorithm is implemented in the class *BRepAlgoAPI_Defeaturing*. The actual features removal is performed by the low-level algorithm *BOPAlgo_RemoveFeatures*.
Documentation of the new classes.
Implementation of the DRAW commands for working with new algorithm.
Test cases for the new functionality.
Changes in other algorithms used by De-featuring algorithm:
- Provide history support for the solids in *ShapeUpgrade_UnifySameDomain* algorithm;
- Implementation of the mechanism to merge History of any Algorithm with standard history methods such as IsDeleted(), Modified() and Generated() into *BRepTools_History*.
When measuring the deviation of the end of the added edge from the resulting edge take the point on the curve, not from the vertex.
Test cases for the issue.
In case of sequence of edges based on lines (which are going to be unified into one line-segment), take into account a linear tolerance value.
Get rid of regressions.
Updates of USD-tests.
Make the algorithm BRepOffsetAPI_NormalProjection use section operation instead of common to get the edge-result of projection to be in face restrictions.
Correct Boolean operation algorithm to produce correctly oriented result in the case of common between face and edge.
The algorithm ShapeUpgrade_UnifySameDomain has been patched to correctly gather same domain faces in a compound.
The TCL script snowflake.tcl has been corrected to get rid of dependence on the order of edges in the result of Boolean operation.
This patch turns off some not needed modes of fix in the called ShapeFix_Face algorithm.
It stores pcurves on planes in the edges to avoid repeated computation of the same pcurves many times (it is done only when SafeInputMode is false).
It avoids unnecessary replace/apply actions in the modification context.
It removes the code that makes decomposition of surface of the face on several faces.
The new command buildpcurvesonplane has been added, which builds and stores pcurves of edges on planar faces. This is useful for investigations how presence of pcurves on planes influence performance of algorithms.
Make drawing of dimension line in snowflake test independent on the order of vertices in the result.
'BRepTools_History' history was implemented for algorithm
'ShapeUpgrade_UnifySameDomain'.
The history of the changing of the initial shape was corrected to consider all
shapes created by the algorithm as modified shapes instead of generated ones.
The old history interface was replaced by the new one:
- to get the modified shapes use: History()->Modified();
- to check if the shapes has been deleted use: History()->IsRemoved().
The macros Status, Convex, Opposite, FillSolid (coming from X11 headers)
are now undefined in place of definition of methods with same name in OCCT headers.
The usage of variables with name Status is now avoided.
GL_GLEXT_LEGACY is now defined only if not already defined.
The macros AddPrinter (coming from WinAPI headers) is now undefined
within Message_Messenger class definition having method with the same name.
CurrentDirectory macro is now undefined in OSD_Process.hxx.
Get rid of iterations on maps with shape key by replacing simple maps with indexed maps. So iteration is done on integer key.
The map containers have been updated to insert into them type definitions of key and value.
The new methods RemoveKey() and RemoveFromIndex() have been added to indexed [data] map to be able to remove an arbitrary key from the map.
All the code in OCCT has been updated where RemoveLast() and Substitute() methods were used to remove a key from indexed [data] map.
- The option SafeInputMode has been added in the class ShapeUpgrade_UnifySameDomain. If it is set then the input shape is protected against modifications of any aspects of its sub-shapes. Default value is true.
- The option "-nosafe" has been added in draw command "unifysamedom". If it is not set the algorithm is run with SafeInputMode switched off.
The cause of the bug was computation of incorrect UVBounds in the method ShapeAnalysis::GetFaceUVBounds. In this patch the computation of a box for a 2D curve in the method ShapeAnalysis_Curve::FillBndBox() has been improved taking into account intervals of C2 continuity.
Also the fix makes little extension of bounds when making the new surface in ShapeUpgrade_FaceDivide::SplitSurface(), so that all p-curves were fully inside.
Test case for issue CR28553
- The methods "Modified" and "IsDeleted" have been added for history support in "ShapeUpgrade_UnifySameDomain" class.
- The new Draw commands "unifysamedommod" and "unifysamedomisdel" have been added.
- Adoption of other algorithms using this one to its new behavior.
Removing code duplication
Correcting regressions
Correcting remarks
The new method TopExp::MapShapesAndUniqueAncestors has been implemented, which excludes duplication of ancestors in the list items. The optional Boolean argument 'useOrientation' of this method points whether two same shapes with different orientation will be considered equal.
OCCT code has been inspected and MapShapesAndAncestors has been replaced with MapShapesAndUniqueAncestors where it is necessary.
Macro NO_CXX_EXCEPTION was removed from code.
Method Raise() was replaced by explicit throw statement.
Method Standard_Failure::Caught() was replaced by normal C++mechanism of exception transfer.
Method Standard_Failure::Caught() is deprecated now.
Eliminated empty constructors.
Updated samples.
Eliminate empty method ChangeValue from NCollection_Map class.
Removed not operable methods from NCollection classes.
- New methods SetLinearTolerance and SetAngularTolerance have been added in the class ShapeUpgrade_UnifySameDomain.
- The algorithm has been modified to consider these tolerances when checking if two faces are same domain.
- The draw command unifysamedomain has been changed to accept new parameters.
- The internal method MergeSeq has been changed to avoid exception connected with access to unknown key in the data map.
Create test case
Small correction of test case for issue CR27729
Correct the algorithm in the function MergeEdges in ShapeUpgrade_UnifySameDomain.cxx so as to take into account the orientation of the next edge added to the chain.
Test cases for issue CR27521
The update of the set of boundary edges has been added for the case when faces containing milti-connected edges are excluded from merging.
Update test cases for unifysamedom to generate snapshots.
The new option AllowInternalEdges has been added in the class ShapeUpgrade_UnifySameDomain. It determines how the algorithm treats the situation when two faces can be merged together but they have connection with another face via the common edge.
With this option turned on, merging of such faces is not stopped, but the multiconnected edges are added to the merged face as INTERNAL edges.
By default it is false. In this mode such merging is forbidden, so the result shape will not contain any new INTERNAL edges.
The behavior of the algorithm has been changed so that it does not merge faces from different shells.
